By Air

Nearest airport (Baden-Karlsruhe) is just 25 mins drive and serves a dozen destinations including Ryanair from London(Stansted). The airport has full car-hire services. Daily service to London(Stansted), 75 mins,  and excellent direct services to 10 other international destinations.

By Rail

There's a railway station at Achern, our local town (4km). This connects well with all German destinations and to Switzerland. The French TGV system comes as close as Strasbourg in France, 35 mins by road, or you can  continue on from Strasbourg to Achern by local train. Bus 7122 (direction 'Lauf') drives from the railway station Achern to our bus stop 'Erlenbad Obersasbach' regularly. On request we could also do our best to arrange a pick-up directly from the railway station.

 

By Car

We are just 10 minutes from Germany's A5 autobahn (exit 'Achern', 5km away), about 100 miles north of Basel and 35 miles South of Karlsruhe. There are good motorway connections into the French autoroute system nearby. Journey time by road from Calais is about 6 hours.
